You will see how the finest coffee in the world is farmed and then transformed into perfectly roasted beans. The visitor will be entertained with The Story of Coffee, a play featuring local music and costumes relating the worldwide coffee origins and traditions, along with expert information. You can see the factory in operation and learn how to cup, grade, and taste coffee with the experts in a very enjoyable and educational tour. Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant, and then continue into the countryside outside of San Jose to visit a fascinating butterfly farm, where you will experience the largest commercial butterfly farm in the Western Hemisphere. You will receive a guided tour within an enclosed tropical garden filled with approximately 1,000 live butterflies. |
