Deluxe Plus Galapagos M/Y Theory
Galapagos M/Y Theory

The Deluxe Plus M/Y Theory, the identical sister yacht to the M/Y Origin, and theM/Y Theory cast off for her very first Galapagos cruise in March 2019. Cruises and specialty departures aboard the M/Y Theory are just as memorable as those on her sister ship.

The M/Y Theory offers a combination of eco-friendly features, modern furnishings, and high-end amenities, coupled with remarkable performance and precision.

Sleek Economy
The M/Y Theory, like her triplet sister ships M/Y Origin and M/Y Evolve, combines stylish décor, world-class service, and luxurious amenities – all built with naval steel and designed to minimize environmental impact.

Speed, Balanced with Comfort
Traveling at a speed of 12-14 knots allows more time for exploration. The curved bow of the vessel cuts through waves for smooth sailing and less drag, which reduces RPMs and ultimately demands less fuel.

The M/Y Theory offers many of the same features as her sister vessels – all ten spacious deluxe staterooms are featured on deck with wide ocean views and two twin beds that convert to a King. Cabin amenities include ample sectional closets, nightstands, modern décor, fine linens and towels, climate control, Apple TV with pre-loaded movies, a universal docking station, Espresso and tea set up, a vanity with a lighted mirror, and a safe deposit box.

Guests will sleep like a baby sea lion amidst the luxurious linens, memory-foam mattresses, and soft pillows. Private bathrooms include a modern rainfall shower, dual-flush toilet, sink, hair dryer, waffle bathrobe, slippers, plush towels, biodegradable soaps, and shampoos.

Additional Amenities
•Spacious sundeck
•Lounge for special gatherings and fellowship
•Fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights +Boutique with local handicrafts and clothing
•Library with a selection of books dedicated to Galapagos and Charles Darwin
•Jacuzzi for up to six guests
•Satellite communications and Wi-Fi (one PIN per cabin)
•Laundry service

The chic dining room offers table configurations accommodating from two up to eight guests seated together. Guests enjoy a generous open bar policy and each meal is carefully prepared, with a beautifully plated four-course dinner menu with Ecuadorian and International specialties. Meals are creatively prepared by culinary school trained chefs using only the finest, locally sourced ingredients.

The Experience
Travel in the company of knowledgeable naturalist guides in small groups – never more than ten per guide – creating an in-depth and intimate learning environment. There are plenty of activities to keep guests entertained; nature walks, beach strolls, zodiac jaunts, snorkel excursions, kayaking, and stand up paddle-boarding.

Activities
Twice-daily guided shore excursions with optional water activities and exploration by Zodiac or glass-bottom boat. Sports equipment such as paddle boards, fins, and snorkels are provided at no extra charge.

Family Departures
Designated departure dates for families traveling with children age seven to 17 and up are available on school breaks.

Specialty/Themed Departures
Offered in fall: Health & Wellness with a yoga instructor, hosted departures with scientist, photography departures, and culinary cruise with local chefs.
