 The
Mayan Inn Hotel is in the heart of Chichicastenango, within one

been welcoming guests since 1932 when the late Alfred S. Clark first
opened the Inn. Mr. Clark searched the country for colonial chests,
weavings, figures, mirrors, chairs and benches to furnish his hotel,
thereby creating a gallery of Spanish art for his guests to enjoy.
Today, Mayan Inn Hotel offers 30 comfortable and nicely decorated
single and double rooms, each its own museum. All rooms have their
own private bathroom and some rooms also have a fireplace and/or
views of the forested hills around town. Choose from three unique
dining rooms for breakfast, lunch and dinner, each meal a tasteful
blend of international and local dishes for your enjoyment. Ample
corridors and beautifully maintained gardens full of evergreen vegetation

shop, safe (at front desk), room service, laundry, parking, ADA

maid service, and telephone. Service is excellent, and attendants
in traditional costume, assigned to each room, do everything from
lighting the fire to serving dinner. Meals are taken in stately
