Built in 1985 by current owners Teri
and Glenn Jampol, Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn is situated on ten
lush acres of exotic tropical flora above Costa Rica's beautiful Central
Valley. Surrounded by towering Higuerón trees, the Inn offers
spectacular views of volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations.
The Rosa Blanca Master Suite is a stunning duplex, with the sleeping
quarters occupying a tower 40 feet above the ground with a 360-degree
view of the surrounding verdant countryside. In addition to the extraordinary
master suite, the Inn offers three elegant, yet whimsical junior suites,
two spacious villas, and three uniquely appointed double rooms, each
with its own private veranda. Each sunny morning guests waken to an
exquisite breakfast, replete with freshly brewed organic coffee grown
on the Inn's own plantation, and succulent mango, papaya, pineapple
and bananas from Rosa Blanca's own organic orchards consisting of
over 300 fruit trees. Finca Rosa Blanca has the highest rating in
Costa Rica for sustainable tourism (five green leaves), and its landscaping
is an intrinsic part of the unique architectural experience. The lovely
lounge and dining area of the main building is situated in a sunlit
clearstory room filled with flowers and art. Here guests can relax
in front of a crackling fire in the evenings or browse through the
library famous for its collection of art, nature and history books.
The superb hillside infinity swimming pool (chemical-free), provides
luxuriant bathing with its 12-foot cascading waterfall, secluded decks
and shaded verandas where guests can sunbathe and enjoy the magnificent
vistas surrounded by tropical gardens. Finca Rosa Blanca's attention
to detail is unparalleled in Costa Rica, and the personal care lavished
on its guests is legendary, with a ratio of one staff member for every
two guests. This splendid hotel is a stunning accommodation and a
Must-Stay for the traveler seeking the extraordinary. |
