FULL-DAY POAS VOLCANO &
SARAPIQUI JUNGLE TOUR WITH LUNCH

First you will visit Poas Volcano, where you can admire the impressive and imposing crater of the volcano, which is 1.7 miles (2,708 meters) above sea level. The trip then continues as you pass by strawberry fields, ferns, and flowers before arriving at the volcano where you will have time to observe the main crater and sulfur fumaroles.

After visiting the Poas Volcano, descend to Puerto Viejo in the Sarapiqui Valley, where you will board a river boat for a 2-hour adventure on the Sarapiqui River. Catch a glimpse of crocodiles, monkeys, exotic birds and wild orchids while cruising down the river. Lunch at a local farm is included. Return to San Jose through the scenic rainforest of Braulio Carrillo National Park. It is recommended that you wear walking shoes, light clothing, sunscreen and insect repellant. (L)
