Los
Apus Hostal was built on the foundations of an ancient colonial
house, and has been completely restored. Upon walking through the
principal stone entry you will find a residence combining architectural
features from the pre-Inca, Inca and the Colonial age, as well as
four Inca "andenes" (stone walls). The street level of
the Hostal also boasts two beautiful colonial courtyards. Ideally
located in the historical artesans district of San Blas, three blocks
from the Plaza de Armas, it is situated on the corner of a pedestrian-only
street and a dead-end street, which assures tranquillity and rest
during your stay.
The Hostal has
20 rooms with private bathrooms, shower or tub. All the rooms have
extra long beds (203 cm), central heating, 14" cable TV (about
80 channels), direct-dialing telephone system and clock radio. Hairdryers
are available at the front desk. The breakfast lounge "El Mirador"
is ideally located on the top floor of the Hostal from where you
have a nice view of the Imperial City.
